to prepare:

• set the system/open gl settings mem cache limit in MB -> rise to max
  

• f10 and @anim activate do sequence

at sequence window add effects with space,

audio (hd or ram),

movie or image,

to set effects select the strip (might need two strips to work) and press space

after loading movie and adding effect: add an ipo curve in ipo window with ctrl-lmb to set at least one point (0-100% of movie) to activate the effect.
